Stirling work as McDonald’s Sport heads to Scotland
Red Consultancy spent last weekend managing visits to grassroots football clubs by two stars of the England women’s football team.
The visits by England and Arsenal Ladies defender Casey Stoney and England and Manchester City striker Toni Duggan were organised to promote the McDonald’s Accredited Club Kit scheme. The scheme allows every accredited club in the UK to order a brand new team kit and has proved immensely popular with over 100,000 kits being donated since August 2014.
On Saturday, Casey visited Wincanton Town Youth FC in Somerset where she presented the players with a brand new kit and put them through their paces in a special training session. While on Sunday, Toni was at Reddish North End FC showing off her skills and passing on tips to youngsters before officially handing over their new kit.
As well as managing all logistics for both visits (including co-ordinating ambassadors and clubs), Red also secured media opporutnities.
