Red Consultancy helped Heathrow Airport mark this year’s Export Week by celebrating the British exports that travel through the airport every day.
Working closely with UK Trade Investment and small to medium-sized businesses across Britain, the project was divided into two parts: a corporate and consumer media-facing report and an experiential pop-up café at Heathrow Terminal 5.
The Export Café captured airport footfall and engaged key stakeholders including MPs, the general public and media. It displayed over twenty five of the UK’s top exports and even offered passengers the chance to enjoy a unique tasting menu featuring some of Britain’s best food and drink exports.
The Exports Report featured UK customs data and offered an exclusive barometer of the UK’s business sector growth. The report received an overwhelmingly positive reaction from both media and stakeholders, generating over 50 pieces of coverage to date across UK national, business trade and regional media. In addition, two key MPs have come out in support of Heathrow expansion on the back of the Export Week activity and a lively conversation has been driven both on and offline.
